Your go-to place for everything you’ll need as we plan your session together

Client Lounge

Your wardrobe plays a big role in how your senior photos look and feel — but it doesn’t need to be stressful. This page is meant to give you a solid starting point so you feel confident heading into planning, not overwhelmed.

We’ll fine-tune everything together during your session consultation based on your collection, locations, and the overall vibe we’re creating.

Wardrobe & Style Overview

Level Up Your Project

The number of outfits we photograph will depend on the collection you selected, along with timing and locations for your session.

As a general rule, I recommend bringing a few more outfit options than you think you’ll need. That gives us flexibility and allows us to choose what photographs best once we see everything together in real life.

How Many Outfits Should I Bring?

The goal is variety! I recommend bringing something long, something short, and something with legs. It's also a great idea to plan outfits that fall into a mix of these categories:

Casual
Think everyday-you: relaxed, comfortable, and effortless. This could be denim, a favorite top, sneakers, boots, or something you’d actually wear out with friends.

Building a Balanced Wardrobe

Dressy
This is where flow, movement, and polish shine. Dresses, skirts, elevated sets, or anything that feels a little more styled tend to photograph beautifully.

Something Fun or Fashion-Forward
This is your chance to play. Bold colors, unique textures, statement pieces, or something slightly outside your comfort zone often end up being client favorites.

We’ll decide together which outfits work best for each part of your session during our consultation.

If it’s not comfortable in real life, it usually shows on camera.

You’ll be walking, sitting, moving, and posing throughout your session, so choose outfits that let you move easily and feel confident without constant adjusting. When you’re comfortable, everything looks more natural — and that’s always the goal.

Comfort Matters (More Than You Think)

Layers and accessories are one of the easiest ways to add variety without adding extra outfits.

Jackets, sweaters, scarves, belts, hats, jewelry, and even shoes can completely change the look of an outfit. These pieces also give us more posing and styling options during your session.

Bring more than you think you’ll need — we can always simplify.

Layers & Accessories=
Options

The right undergarments make a big difference in how clothing photographs. I recommend bringing a few options if your outfits require them — such as strapless, sticky, or seamless undergarments.

Also keep fabrics in mind. Materials that wrinkle easily can show quickly on camera, so steaming outfits ahead of time is always a good idea.

A Quick Note on Undergarments & Fabric

You don’t need a perfectly planned wardrobe walking into this. Start by pulling a few outfit options you love and gathering inspiration — we’ll take care of the rest together.

Your session consultation is where we’ll finalize outfit choices, pair looks with locations, and make sure everything feels cohesive, confident, and very you. This page is simply a guide to get you thinking — not a checklist you have to “get right.”

Come as you are. We’ll fine-tune the details together.
