Your go-to place for everything you’ll need as we plan your session together
Client Lounge
There’s no one “right” way to show up on session day — the goal is simply to feel confident and comfortable in your own skin. Some seniors love having hair and makeup done professionally, while others feel most like themselves sticking with their own routine.
Both options photograph beautifully when done thoughtfully. This section is here to help you decide what feels best for you.
getting camera ready
More and more seniors are choosing to do their own makeup — and that’s completely okay. If you’re confident in your routine and love how you normally do your makeup, you don’t need to change that for photos.
pro or diy
Professional makeup can be a great option too. Artists use camera-ready products, know how makeup photographs in natural light, and help everything last throughout the session.
If you’re unsure which route to take, we’ll talk it through during your consultation and decide what makes the most sense for your style, outfits, and session vibe.
If you book professional makeup, I recommend wearing a zip-up or button-down top to your appointment so changing outfits later doesn’t disturb your makeup.

Angie is a Westfield-based makeup artist and licensed esthetician. She creates soft, elevated makeup in studio and is happy to travel to clients of preferred.
Located in the Castleton area, Randee creates soft, polished "pretty" makeup that feels natural and flattering. Her focus os always on what the senior wants and feel best in.
If you decide to book professional hair and/or makeup, here are a few artists my seniors have loved working with. I don’t have any formal partnerships with them and don’t receive referral fees or kickbacks — these are simply recommendations based on past client experiences. I also don’t set their pricing, so you’ll want to reach out directly for availability and rates.
These artists do book up quickly, so if you’re interested, I recommend contacting them as soon as possible. And of course, you’re always welcome to use any artist you love — this list is just a helpful starting point.

A few reasons helpful tips:
Your hands (and feet!) show up more in photos than you might expect, so a little nail prep goes a long way. French manicures, soft nudes, sheer pinks — or even clean nails with no polish — always photograph beautifully.
